Music & Love

Earphones in, and the my world slowly begins to fade, sort of like those fancy slideshow transitions. Except, this time there is no "new slide" that is going to appear. My slideshow or the world as-I-know it is full of glitches. The music takes me through an endless rut of oh-so-famous artists talking to me about life, about how love is supposed to feel like and how much heartbreak hurts. Who am I kidding? I love their stuff.

      From a fifteen and somethings' point of view, love finds its expression through extremities of emotions; ranging from the exhilaration of new- found love to insecurities of long-standing relationships. Love is an overwhelming feeling, one beyond human comprehension. A state when the urge to become one with the other is so strong, that you lose all rationality. The experience is a fulfilling one, though to say the least, exhausting.
